Claim Your Organization
Take ownership of your organization's profile on Yoruba.ca. A claimed and verified profile gives your association national visibility, a trust badge, and the ability to publish events to the national calendar.
How Verification Works
Submit a Claim
Fill out the form below with your organization details and your role. We'll create or link your profile in the directory.
Proof of Control
We verify you represent the organization using one of these methods:
- Email verification: We send a code to an email address published on your organization's website.
- DNS verification: Add a TXT record to your organization's domain.
- Letter on letterhead: Submit a signed letter from current leadership (manual review).
Registry Confirmation
Where possible, we cross-reference your organization against official registries:
- Corporations Canada (federal incorporations)
- Provincial registries (BC societies, Ontario corporations, Quebec register, etc.)
- CRA Charities Directorate (if applicable)
Verified Badge
Once verified, your profile displays a "Verified" badge. You gain the ability to update your profile, add events, and manage your listing.
Profile Statuses
Organization appears in the directory based on public information. Not yet claimed by leadership.
An authorized representative has submitted a claim. Verification is in progress.
Organization identity confirmed through proof of control and/or registry check. Profile is managed by the organization.
A dispute has been filed regarding this organization's profile. Under review per our dispute policy.

Partnership Opportunities
Yoruba.ca offers a federated partnership model. Your association keeps its brand, membership system, and local programs. We provide national distribution, verified profiles, event syndication, and a governance seat.
Chapter Partnership
Become a verified regional chapter (e.g., /chapters/bc). Co-branded page, event cross-posting, business directory integration, and governance seat.
Event Syndication
Publish events once on your site; Yoruba.ca ingests them into the national calendar. Drives attendance from across Canada.
Business Directory
Cross-list your local business directory entries nationally. Membership discount models carry over.
Language Curriculum
Organizations running Yoruba language programs can be featured as "Language School Partners" with enrollment links.
